Good Questions: Bulbs For These Light Fixtures?

3.14lights.jpgHello AT,

My apartment has these fixtures on the wall that I've been told are lights.

That's all I know about them, actually - where would i find out more about these things, and, more importantly, where can I buy bulbs for them?

Thanks! JC

Are those the ones that take the special "plug-in" type flourescent bulbs?

They could be for a linear incandescent with a S14S base.

Take the pix to your local hardware store - they should be able to identify what you need.

Could be linestra bulbs (as noted above)

call Kay, the Lightbulb Lady at Sunlan Lighting. She knows her bulbs!

My vote is linestra S14d base. Here's a wall sconce that uses the same bulb as a point of comparison.

Thirding the linestra S14d. I have the sconces that dave from YL links to and the receptor looks the same.

thanks for the suggestions! the multiple votes for the linestra s14d seem pretty convincing so I'm going to give that a shot.
