We liked the Kelvin lamp when it came out a few years ago, so we were rather excited when we saw the new floor version. Dubbed Kelvin F, this standing model takes up minimal floorspace and gently leans over on top of the book you are reading. It also comes in black. We found it for $316 at YLighting.
It was 296. last week when I ordered it from Moss. Their prices on Flos are always less than retail for some reason.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had bad experience at Ylighting. I bought their TMM floor lamp ($1144); it is chintzy, cheap and flimsy. I began my process of having Ylighting take it back in early October. It is now Nov. 1 and the lamp is still waiting in my LR for pick-up. I have never had such lousy service (poor follow-through, ignoring my phone calls) etc. than I've had with this company.
I wouldn't buy anything from them again.
Is this lamp new? I'm sure I've seen it introduced at around the same time the regular Kelvin was introduced a few yrs back.
