Medusa Light by Mikko Paakkanen

12-18-paakkanen-medusa-1.jpg The Medusa light from designer Mikko Paakkanen uses LED and fiber optic technology from Finnish company Saas Instruments to create a unique, changing form. The shape of Medusa morphs from nearly straight vertical strands of light to a round globe. According to a reference in the December issue of Metropolis, the lamp moves "like a jellyfish propelling itself silently through the deep." We can't wait to see one in action!...
