Metal Lamp Shades

7-26-metal-lamp-shade-1.jpg

Shiny! We're not usually fans of Pottery Barn — their products tend to be grossly oversized and cumbersome. Imagine our surprise when we spotted these Ellison Metal Lamp Shades. A metallic luster can really change a room, and it's nice to see a modern metal lampshade that isn't punched tin. These somewhat-aged-looking shades are painted white on the interior to keep things bright...

Accent-size, above.

They're available in four sizes from small accent shades (6.5 inches at widest) to a large table lamp size (13.5 inches at widest). Prices range from $19 to $79.

one can always find one or two things at PB that, taken out of their "New England beach cottage" fixation can function quite well in any other setting...
