NY Good Questions: Similar, Less Expensive Lamp?

6.18lamp.jpgDear AT,

I've been in love with the Fruiteria Lamp from Anthropologie for many months now, but I cannot possibly justify spending $500 on two lamps with the economy in its current state.

I'm looking for a similar style, the "citrus" colors, and cheaper.

Does it exist?

Thanks! Marina

where have you already looked? should have jumped that Target knock off when it was available.

Try Spiegel.

It's not hard to make a lamp. Hardware stores sell the parts for a few bucks, and you could probably get a glassblower on Etsy to make you custom glass balls (with a hole in either side) for a lot less than $500.

Sorry I misread the post, thought it said the lamps were 500 each. So the options I suggested do not save you much.
