Dear AT,
I simply love the pendant light in "Stephanie's Tile and Marble Vision" bathroom you posted a while ago.
Could you please tell me where this ceiling light is from or where I could get a similar one?
Thanks! Rita

RITA, im not sure about the lamp, sorry but by chance can you tell me where you got that shower curtian system? i have a claw foot tub as well and the rod that goes all the way around the tub is shorter than i am so yours looks like it might do the trick?

oops, i just saw that this is post is about an older post so i checked it out and here is what stephanie wrote about the shower curtains:
stepahnie: I ended up buying the curtain track from this website:
http://www.curtainfair.com/1200track.htm. I asked for extra chain so I could adjust for the hieght of my ceilings. the track was installed by my contractor, John Belitsky (Simplicity Group). I installed something similar in my bedroom by myself and it was pretty easy; just make sure you measure to the space and have a hack saw handy just in case. And find out what your ceilings are made of! You can also find pretty much the same item in NYC at Zarin Fabrics, which have other types of track systems as well.

Hi everyone, it's Rita. Redneckmodern, it certainly looks a lot like the rejuvenation cove lamp, but the rejuvenation cove lamp seems a bit smaller than the lamp in the picture could be.
The only other lamp that is similar that I've found, is the Ikea Kulla ceiling lamp.

Albeit, it's white and the style is a little different (sans the neat holes in the shade), but it could potentially work in a bathroom.

Im not positive but I think the 1970's... :)

I've seen this light (or something like it) on a lighting manufacturer site. I'll have to look through my bookmarks at work this week. It does remind me of the light fixtures in the 1960's ranch house in Astoria, Oregon, that I lived in.

I have this very lamp in my pantry...Sorry, but I think it was added in the 60's, along with a vintage "sputnik" pendant in the back foyer.

Rita, I do not love the lamp! It competes with your shower curtain - I'd look for an unobtrusive but still retro flush fixture. Try Rejuvenation (if your budget allows), or see hundreds at csnlighting.com, free s/h, no tax to NY.
Happy hunting!

The closest I see is a flushmount on the Rejuvenation site that "everydaydiva" listed and is found...

It cant be hard to find this kind of light at thrift shops or garage sales for MUCH less than the $133 Rejuvenation asks for though.

Dear Rita,
I'm not sure I would recommend install as an over the shower light. It doesn't seem to be made for shower stalls. I would recommend a water protected, flush mounted light, a specialty pot light, or placing it in another area outside the shower.
If you can reach that light standing up in the shower, that is a huge risk.
Careful love.
