Spotted in Metropolis, the Pengu is a new shape from CX that is hand blown of Murano glass in a milk white color. Primarily known for their more rustic Scavo pendants, this is a new look for CX.
We liked the spare lines, the luminous quality and the super wide shade, which we'd never seen before. The base also reminded us of Crate and Barrel's delicious Opal Table Lamps that carry a similar look.

I love the "intentionally white", iPod sensibility of that whole line.
Maybe it's the heat, but white as a design choice is looking particularly mighty fine to me right now.
