Outdoor lighting that rocks. The Stone Light was designed by Marta Laudani & Marco Romanelli for Oluce.
They're made of polyethylene and come in a variety of shapes, just like natural stones. But unlike natural stones, these fluorescent lamps give off a nice diffuse light.
We think they look lovely scattered through the landscape above.

Fake plastic stones are tacky. In fact, almost any fake, plastic thing is ugly and tacky, especially when it tries to imitate nature. I just don't understand the fascination with this kind of junky stuff.

I like this form of lighting. In the right setting would look very cool indeed. Only if they were solar powered, it would so much more attractive...
