A post-Atkins (and MUCH CHEAPER) cousin to Danish designer Poul Henningsen's iconic Artichoke Ceiling pendant lamp.

I looked up the Henningsen lamp you mention, and that one is much closer to the one I had. Long gone now, more's the pity.
