Trumpette Table Lamp

2-24-niche.jpgWe met Jeremy Pyles of Niche Modern last year at Brooklyn Designs and were impressed at how easygoing and affable he was, considering his beautiful glass lighting fixtures are cooler than Prince and Mercer on a Saturday night.

With a pure love for the form of smoky glass, he has slowly been extending his line from pendants to table lamps. The Trumpette Table Lamp is his first entry. We like its sleek updated vintage feel and think it would make for a perfect bedside lamp. The retail price is quite high, but who's counting?

I am on board ANY glass item whose color is called "Smoke."

The pendants are also seriously covetable (a picture of one I just recently tore out of a shelter mag, for the "some day" file).

They remind me of some of the earlier lighting sold at Thomas O'Brien's Aero.

I dunno, with that dish base, it could turn into a collection point for stuff, earrings, change, used tissues, pills.

This lamp is amazing! Here's hoping this guy will create even more lights for our reading & dining pleasure.

I really like Jeremy's work. I love the glass ceiling fixtures as well althougth the wattage in those funky bulbs he uses is not that high.
