Swedish Design Contest

For the past five weeks, Swedish design blogger and Apartment Therapy reader, Pethra has been designing different rooms for her entry into a design competition for Swedish TV-Channel 5. So far she and her design partner and boyfriend, Mikael have designed an outdoorsy room, designed for storage, and a bedroom! For this final piece of the contest, they styled a corner of a living room. Their goal was to create a bazaar style with a Scandinavian touch.

We're pretty impressed that this space was decorated mostly with odds and ends around the home. You can vote for Pethra on Swedish-Channel 5.

Turns out the rug on the floor is cut carpet. Does anyone know where I can get a pattern for cow hide so I can cut my own?

Actually, is is not a rug, the Google translation is a bit confusing. "Koskinnsmatta" is translated into "Koski" rug" and I have no idea what a "Koski" is, but "Koskinnsmatta" means cow hide.

It´s a green cow hide from South Africa.
