What more can you say? This amazing ladder totally folds away so that you can slip it inside your closet without taking up any room! We found it at Kelly G's house and had to photograph it....

It's a German design and Kelly got it at Gracious Home, where they had to special order it, but we also found it online at the following source....
>> Home Solutions $70
>> Amazon $70
I even found a cheesy video about it (but it is cool to see it open and close):
Very cool.

I looked at those links, but they look a little different than the one in the photo. I want the one in the photos above, it doesn't look as cheap as the others do.

WOW. Wish I'd seen that before I bought my standard fold-up one.

A female friendly ladder?

looks pretty cool, but it does look slightly different above.
My question is, in the video, it shows the guy opening it up in his garage and it is much taller then him. then they show the women with it, and it is short. So which is it? Or is that guy just really really short...

I'd like the one in the pictures, which seems to be taller and sturdier than the one in the video. What's the name of the model and/or maker? It's not on the Gracious Home site.

Unless Billy Mays is yelling about its merits, I would have to pass. However, this pitch woman's sensible hair do and relaxed fit Dockers may influence my purchase.

The ladders linked above are 5' and support up to 225 pounds. The ones below appear to be a bit heavier duty and support up to 250.

Oh...found more links. These sites say 225 lbs max. Google "GPL ladder."
JC Whitney has them:

I own this marvel of coolness but... it's extremely difficult to use for long extended periods of time, like painting a ceiling or changing fighting fixtures. The reason for this is that the ladder steps are very narrow, about 1 1/2, about the same width as the vertical ladder railings. I'm constantly finding myself shifting and angling my foot trying to find the best position for a secure and safe support. I totally recommend trying it before buying it. It may not be as useful as you think.
