Look!: Ark van Noach (Noah's Ark)

This is not a small home. We were recently tipped off to the Ark that Johan Huibers has built in Holland. It is a fantastic piece of design and beautiful in its contrast between simplicity and size...

The site is in Dutch, so it's hard to get very specific, but this remarkable project seems to be a full scale replica of the mythic ship, which - should it need mentioning - was a mobile home during a ~~previous~~ period of global ~~warming~~ flooding.

Who or what will live in this new ark is not known to us, and any more information would be very welcome. (Thanks, Mark!)

It is oddly beautiful and totally creepy to me, all at the same time.

Does Johan know something we don't?

Beverage machines? Elevator? All those "tables"?

Surely this will be a tourist attraction? Although....there's been flooding in the Kansas City area.......
