Looks like Marshall Field's has been ahead of the trend.

Looks like those new designer Kleenex boxes to me...

ok, this is a rambling, random question: a long while back there was a post called rachel's kickass kolor, and she has this washed out teal/greenish blue paint on one wall that is awesome. turns out it's a semi-pricey metallic, which i just got a sample of and haven't gotten to try yet, but this post reminded me of it. the top rectangle shown above has a wide blue stripe about 10 in from the right, that looks quite similar to rachel's color. anyone used any paint that is anywhere close to that color and non-metallic?

Speaking of teal(hate the name, love the color), I want a teal dining room but haven't found the perfect color. I want it deep, dark and rich. Any suggestions?

Oh my god, Michael ... that's exactly what I was gonna say! I was just logging on to their site to look up the styles.

I bought some of the cool green ones the other day. I love that new oval box.

HA! I have that top color sample in a pillow i bought a few years ago at Kmart. How knew the big K and Martha were such trendsetters!

Hmmm....I missed 2007 on AT then. I have the colors for 2007 but didn't realize AT did such advance notice. Thanks.

LOL, ridge. I bought one of the green ones too! :)

This volume is so muddy. The other volume is cleaner.

jessie, Citron's #53 Mystery Novel is close to that color. They do little sample pots. Fair warning -- their paint is expensive ($50/gal) but I've been really happy with the colors. The paint is full spectrum so it changes depending on the light and it's very thick and covers easily.

Maybe someone else has a more accessible suggestion though.

Me too, love those new oval Kleenex boxes. I bought the brown one. Why the hell are there still so so many ugly old tissue boxes on the market? Does it cost more to use attractive designs? Sheesh! I've never understood it.

RE: the oval kleenex ... the holiday ones are awesome too ... they have a raised design with ornaments on it. I was actually going to suggest all the funky new designs as a blog post ;-)

I agree about the oval Kleenex boxes...so much better than all the ugly ones out there with illustrations of flowers and fairies! (Not that I dislike them, just not on my tissue boxes!) But the best, most beautiful solution to the ugly tissue box dilemma is the Toro tissue ring!! So simple!

thanks for the info! I´m searching for forecasts for spring/summer trends. A color palette is a nice start!
