Look! Green Chalkboard Paint at Local

We love creative chalkboard paint uses and recently saw this one with green chalkboard paint that was so much warmer and nicer than any we'd seen in a long time. It's at a little coffee shop called Local...

They've painted a section of the wall from floor to ceiling completely in the green paint, which is a good idea, because it reads more as an architectural element instead of a chalkboard. You can find Local here.

Here are four of our top posts on chalkboard paint and where to source the green stuff:

This is a fabulous place. They also made some pink chalkboard paint. Yes, that's right. They made it themselves. This husband wife team is swell, and they make a mean cuppa joe. GO THERE!

Awesome! The green chalkboard looks amazing especially next to that great exposed brick wall. Plus, all of those yummy treats make the shop look very homey and cozy. I’ll take a large cappuccino please!

I am a huge fan of local and apartment therapy so it's fantastic to see them together here. The owners couldn't be more hospitable, the coffee is delicious, and it's just a great space to relax and watch the world go by. And kids are welcome!
