Look! Habitat Catalog Fall 2008

A good friend of ours recently spent a week in London and our one request for a souvenir was a new catalog from Habitat — are we furniture nerds or what?...

We're adding this to our little collection — we have a Habitat catalog from Fall 1998 that we still use for inspiration!

I wish they would open a store in the US. I went there for the first time last year while I was in Paris and loved everything in the store. So much of it is extremely reasonably priced there as well.

while i love habitat (our couch is from there), trust me when i say you have a much much wider range of reasonable priced, easily avaliable modern style furniture to pick from in the states (i actually ordered a tulip dining table from the US because it was easier, and cheaper even with the shipping than getting it in France, despite the fact it is made in Europe).
Here we have IKEA, Habitat, and then really really expensive (but nice) stuff, and then crappy stores like Fly and BUT.

I am jealous of anyone within a few hours drive of a Habitat. I love Dixon's direction.

Habitat or "Ikea-plus" as I call it, as it is Ikea owned, has a lot of wonderful stuff and the quality isn't bad either.

I love Habitat too and always make a point to stop in whilst in London! I had always gone to the Tottenham Court Road shop but the last time I was there I discovered the one on Regent Street & fell in love with the cafe upstairs... a lovely spot for some tea and design inspiration at the same time!

I live in LA and I'm so jealous of those in Europe with Habitat. I was in Paris 5 years ago and I bought lamps, folding chair and a 6x9 rug and checked it in as luggage. It looked really silly in the airport but I had to have my Habitat fix. Their catalogs also look amazing.

Oh yes, and I still also have a copy of that '98 Habitat catalog as well in my library.

CaliinFrance, I am so with you!
I would like to have DWR AND Urban Outfitters, Target Whole Foods and all the other reasonable priced stores from the US there in Germany.
I like Habitat, but I find lots of their stuff too expensive.
I also have a hard time when it comes to there magazines. All the arangements are pretty artistic and lack real soloutions or inspiration for real homes.
