Look!: Nama Rococo's 68 Wallpaper

Color Full. We'd been waiting for an opportunity to install some of Karen Combs' Nama Rococo wallpaper, and we just got our chance...

One of our clients had a long hallway that needed some POP right at the start of it, so we hit it with some Namapaper in Pompeii red. It's perfect and our client loves it.

Nama's paper is all hand printed and comes in sheets, not rolls. This one here is called "sixty eight" and it comes in Pompeii red, black and white, and mellow orange (below). Note, however, that Nama prints small lots and they do change their styles, so if you really like something, order early. - www.namarococo.com

Soooo beautiful and soooo expensive (justifiably so). I'm saving up for a single sheet to frame by itself.

@ Anna at D16

Agreed, we should go in as a co-op.

Oh that looks great in that hallway (of course it would probably look great anywhere).

Add me to the planning-for-one-sheet list.

Oh sweet design lords...why do you dangle these sweet, sweet temptations in our face only to slap us with over-the-top prices?! I just looked it up and it's $126 for a 24 3/4" x 38" sheet. sigh...

OK, so this may be a stupid question, buuuuuttt... why can't one just use wallpaper paste on a regular piece of heavyweight paper to make it wallpaper? Is it because it can't be cleaned properly? There is some handscreened wrapping paper I have seen that is heavy weight and so awesome, and I would love to use it as wallpaper because it is so super cheap. Does anyone know?
