These funny Xmas drawings came to us from a friend yesterday. They mock construction documents that are often issued by architects, drying out a cheerful subject with disclaimers, code requirements and technical jargon. The drawings are a treat for anyone familiar with demonstrating design intent through what is sometimes a dry and lifeless process...

Do you have a printable version of this?
I would love to circulate this in my office. :) I work at an architectural firm. Can I get a printable version of this? Thanks
Yes, architect here too as well, my firm would love these! Are these in ACAD or pdfs? Anyway I could get a copy?
Me too.
And have same questions.
Please, pretty please?!?
My husband is an architect too - I will have to send him a link to this post. I'm sure they will get a kick out of it!
In my world those would be Mil-Spec Xmas blueprints and there would be a destruct test of at least one of the reindeer.
It comes from Winzler & Kelly consulting engineers. I think it was last year's holiday card. You can get a PDF in the off topic forum on pittspeed.com
I'll see if I can post a printable pdf version sometime this weekend. I'll try to add it to this post, so please check back!
Being a Landscape Architect, my firm gets several of these types cards per year. Always good for a laugh.
fantastic... and me too on the printable version...
Forget a pdf version, someone should make those into greeting cards. You don't have to be in architecture to like THAT idea!
am i missing something, or can you just save the image and print it right off screen?
I copied the images, pasted them into word and printed them, but it did not come out very clear. The words were blurry and almost impossible to read.
I just did a google search and found a PDF on this url:

This is so cool!
The designers should put out a line of Xmas cards.
(Of course, I actually had the architectural blueprint of a quiche on my kitchen wall for a while, back in the day.)
Thanks, ff, for posting a link to the printable PDF.
