Cork Fabric from Habitus

We can't get enough cork. Check out this cork fabric from Habitus. This thick fabric, made from cork, can be used for wallscoverings, upholstery, handbags, etc..

This 100% natural material is inherently anti-bacterial and thermally and acoustically insulative. What's not to love about cork? We love to see it pop up in innovative new uses like this.

Available at Habitus Architectural Products, right here in NYC.

I wonder if cork would be good as a rug matt....to put under rugs for cushion and to keep it from slipping.

Does anyone know of a place that sells cork mats? (Something like an area run, instead of permanent floor tiles?)
