Felt Inspiration. More cool stuff from the new Brocade Home collection. These Laser Cut Felt Rugs are beautiful but we're personally a little wary of the holes shielding dirt from our vaccuum. Perhaps they are thin and sturdy enough so this wouldn't be a problem. We'd like to reinterpret these as wall-hangings to dampen noise or as cool variations of felt sliding doors...

You could mount these on a frame instead of the tired old Shoji screens. These are pretty cool IMO.

Lazer cut EVERYTHING!

I'd be afraid of furniture legs (or shoe heels) catching on the inside edge of one of the cut-outs and tearing it.

I have been trying to find someone to laser cut 100% wool felt, but everyone I've spoken to tells me the laser singes the felt. A couple folks tried it anyway and they were right. Any idea how they are doing this without the singeing? I've seen white laser cut felt without any signs of singeing, but can't find who or how it was done.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Water jet cut it! cheaper and quicker than die cutting - just as accurate as laser cutting - without the burn.
