Three Dimensional Wall Tiles

mio wall tiles.jpgFrom the people who call it "green desire." Mio Culture in Philadelphia is interesting enough to deserve a write up by themselves, but until I get around to it, here is one of their products, wall tiles made of recycled paper which measure 12 inches square, run $2.30 a piece ($28 for a pack of 12), and go right on your wall with double stick tape. I am seeing more of this type of sculptural wall decoration around and find it odd, but interesting. It would fit in more in a restaurant than an apartment, but it is hard to judge until you try it. I haven't tried the Mio Colture recycled paper wall tile, but I like the concept. Another good sustainable option are the cork wall tiles offered at http://www.poppanels.com

If your not into cork, they also have walnut, birch and cherry.

Be good.... Annie
