We blogged Jenny Sauer's artwork yesterday but also wanted to point out her online shop, Three Sheets 2 the Wind, where you can purchase her handmade bedding, screen printed wall hangings, and pillows. We instantly liked the soft, quiet nature of all the products we saw there.
All of the items are customizable, so the possibilities are many...

Sorry, Cari, but just because it isn't your taste doesn't make this childish scribbles. It's the same old "I could do THAT, so it can't be art" argument that's B-O-R-I-N-G.
I just got back from NYIGF and as far as I am concerned there are just too many talentless people out there passing off their "work" as a product or some form of art and too many people standing by acting polite and pretending to "get it". Not me. I call it as I see it....and I see no talent here.
I'm sorry but at these prices, I'd have expected them to be embroidered.
I have a 5 year old nephew who creates "art" on pretty much the same level as Three Sheets. Talk about overrated. This is nothing more than childish scribbles. B-o-r-i-n-g.
It's not my aesthetic at all, but she has an incredible sense of color, line, proportion, negative space etc. The delicacy of her work, its combination of calm and spontaneity, is remarkable even to someone like me who prefers more old-fashioned illustrative drawing on my textiles.
Cari - aesthetic value does not lie exclusively in empty technical proficiency. And if you reckon it would be that easy to come up with something similar - well get on with it! You're sitting on a fortune! You too can charge $80 for a freakin cushion!
Hi... this is probably unusual for the person creating the product to actually comment, but I just stumbled upon this tonight and couldn't resist jumping in.... I don't blame anyone for having their own personal taste, but I wanted to say something about the price of the product. Please remember that these pieces are not produced overseas. Most of my sales are through other retailers and they buy at wholesale costs, which are half of what you see at a retail level.
