anyone have any good suggestions for where i can find a wide (more than 72") double-sink vanity with good storage?

Found only one, and it's pricey (click on my sign.)- may be it'd make more sense to work it out with a millworker?

Okay, I'm moving June 1 and while I am THRILLED with my new apartment (even with the no painting clause in the lease)... the bathroom tile is orange. Okay, coral. I'm trying to figure out how to live with it as my favorite color is vivid green and my towels are kelly green and lime green. I'm worried it's going to be some kind of peas-and-carrots nightmare.

Photo is somewhere here:

I'd direct-link but I can't access flickr from work :P

HI! Just redid our bathroom and I'm so happy with it! But I need a long Shower Curtain and we are on a budget. So far I can only find plain white. Any suggestions would really be appreciated! I'm looking for a black and white pattern/fabric curtain.

Anne: Re Coral tile.
I don't mind it, not sure what your personal taste is, but I think that bathroom is screaming for some fun, maybe retro wallpaper!

Something like this?

Thanks, littledebbiet... I don't think I'd be allowed to wallpaper if I'm not allowed to paint. Actually, I was thinking about some Blik removable wall decals and the Blik post today was timely... I like the 16 dots design.

Tat - that link is FABULOUS. I'm now pouting because I'm really certain I can't wallpaper and now I REALLY WANT TO!

anne dallas. i really like the color of your new bathroom tile. but something i noticed. look at the first shot of the exterior of your building. the color of the brick is quite similar to your bathroom tile. and the grass and lawn are a muted green. perhaps not the really vivid green towels you have, but something in an olive or moss.

Anne, how handy are you with a sewing machine? You could take a nice white shower curtain and sew a ribbon border around it in all the colors of the greens and coral. I would also put a bamboo shade in the window and use bamboo or other wood elements in there such as a bamboo rug and baskets for soaps, towels, etc....

One of my neighbors has tile in about three (disparate) shades of muted green, with coral walls, and it looks really good, not in the least like mixed veg.

If the coral is bright, it would be very beachy to go with lime and pale bright blue towels.
