To mark the occasion of our 300th Open Thread today, we're throwing a little, impromptu drinks party tonight in the lobby of the W Union Square. Any and all readers are invited to come on by between 6:30-8:30 and raise a glass with us and share some real, off-line comments. We're paying the tab up to $300, so come early. We'll be wearing an AT t-shirt somewhere on our body so you'll be able to find us.

I'm not sure about that, Opop. I think $300 worth of drinks in Manhattan will get you a Gray Goose w/twist and a Carona.

As far as I know, three people showed up: Olivia, Bernadette, and me! And there was NO ONE wearing an AT T-shirt "somewhere on their body" (at least, on any part that was decent to parade in public!).
Dammit - I need to check AT every day - I would have totally BEEN THERE - even though I probably have the least stylish apartment of anyone at AT...
