Bloggers Choose! Day 19

AT Donors: 27
AT Donor Donations: $3,068
Students Impacted: 1439

Dear AT Readers, this is already a big month for us, but we're going to make it bigger. We've joined up with Donors Choose's Blogger Challenge, along with a whole slew of blogs (Curbed, Eater, TechCrunch, Engadget, Fred Wilson...) we're asking you to help us buy much needed classroom furniture for public schools all over the US...

Our goal at AT is to raise 25K by the last day of the month. You can give as much as you like and fund exactly what you'd like.

Simply go to the Apartment Therapy Challenge Page and check out those items that are wanting funding. A description of each one can be found as well as how much is needed. If you want to know more about Donor's Choose, go here. If you'd like to see the Main Blogger's Page, go here. If you'd like to ask us a question about this, email us at newyork @ apartmenttherapy.com and put "Bloggers Choose" in the subject. Thank you!

I've unfortunately already committed to funding two projects, one in my home neighborhood and one in my work neighborhood (West Philly and 138th and Amsterdam in NY respectively), but I think that this is a great idea.

Good work, AT! I have been donating to Donor's Choose for a couple of years- great organization, and it is fun to get pics and letters from the kids to see what you have accomplished!!

I just donated to a school for some new bookshelves. Thanks for making the donating so easy.

This donor page is such a great idea!

What a fun way to spend money. Better than buying myself another sweater that will just stay in the back of my closet.

Me too - what Dean said.

I clicked over there to see what it was about, started reading the requests and wound up making a donation (and sent links to a few friends who I thought might be interested). It feels really personal to read the teachers' requests and have the ability to choose one (or more) projects to donate to. Great idea. Great project.

I couldn't do much but I donated the couple of dollars I had. It was so nice to get an email from the teacher! Thanks, AT, for letting me help.

Thanks for the great idea AT! I was able to complete funding on a project. We are fortunate that our son attends a lovely high school and are happy to help make someone else's school better.
