Bloggers Choose: Follow Up

Great email. Over at ATSF, they got a lovely email from Brian telling to look again at our Bloggers Choose contest page which grew even after the last day in October!

AT:SF,

I wanted to let you know that I got an email today from DonorsChoose.org. I had donated $10 to one of their projects through your guys' AT challenge, and they emailed me today with a "Thank You" and a $100 gift certificate for the project of my choice. I used it through the AT:Challenge page, and the extra $100 bumped the AT:Challenge to over $5,000 total...

I am thankful that you guys chose such an innovative and rewarding charity, and wanted to share with you that through your connection, and only a $10 sacrifice on my part, $110 went towards a good cause.

The thank-you email they sent said the $100 was provided by "one of their sponsors" so I'm not sure which sponsor it was. I'm not sure if all of your readers who donated got such an email today, but if so, what a huge positive effect you've had on a local level.
