ApartmentTherapy.com winner goes straight to the top: Budget Living magazine announced this morning that it has hired Angela Matusik as its new Editor. Loyal readers will recall the triumph of Angela's Bright Orange Crush last March. If the woman can do that to a kitchen, imagine what she'll do to a periodical.... Matusik replaces founding editor Sarah Gray Miller who left in April. Naturally, we're re-upping our subscription. -OHR

congrats, angela. you rock!
That's fantastic! I emailed Angela for some advice about my kitchen, and she was so nice. I love that magazine, and I can think I will probably only love it more now, since Angela seems so creative.
i love angela matusik and her work, but man oh man do i hate the re-do of the magazine. i hope angela can bring some of the spunk and fun of the old mag back. it just looks too slick and "trying to be cool" to be a budget magazine. i missed its good old days of being a fun, young, "ready made" type mag. oh well, i guess people like me who love fun budgety stuff don't bring in the big magazine bucks...
d*s
Congrats Angela - LOVED your kitchen! Wow, thought you were an amateur - I'll have to check out the mag.
Hopefully Angela will remember all us witty, stylish, little people at her swell new gig when she needs contibutors!!!
Is there a customer service number for BL?
I haven't receive any 2006 issues. Are they still publishing? The last issue received was the woman in red dress cover - the one they show on their website. I tried contact customer service link on their site but that option hasn't worked in months
yikes!
Apparently the magazine ceased publication and has failed to notify subscribers. I had subscribed in January and they still cashed my check despite the fact that they had no intentions of printing another issue.
