Clean sweep. With New Year's Eve on Friday night, this Saturday and Sunday were perfect for cleaning out the apartment. Since it's small we were able to work our way around the whole thing taking out clothing, shoes, books, nic nacs and vacuuming and wiping down all the surfaces. Once we got going, it was a total high to take more and more out the door... including our change collection.
And did it need it.
We found awful dust bunnies growing under the bed, goo in the tracks to our cabinets that needed to be removed and hosed down in the shower, and books that we were given and no longer fit into our lives.
We even put good leather shoes and a Christmas gift (red & white soks with Christmas decorations on them) out on the curb, which were gone by dinner. MGR
