Ohhhhhhhh -- the mini chairs are 1:12, as opposed to the pricey Vitra models, which are 1:6 (too big for dollhouses except for Barbie's Dream Home). And the cost is half of the Take a Seat by Raine series of historic chairs in resin.

*sigh* There goes any Xmas money I get.

Eames fanatics everywhere rejoice! I've always marvelled that the Vitra miniature Plastic Side Chair costs MORE than the actual plastic side chair at DWR. I saw these chairs a few weeks ago on AT - but just discovered them this morning at a designy gift store. They were 15$ and I lucked out and got the Eames Lounger. Its pretty high quality for the money!

The only drawback is that you dont know what you're going to get until you open the box....and you risk getting just the 671 Ottoman. oops!
