We heard last night at CB2's opening that it was more an issue of focusing house and home magazine titles. With Domino, Architectural Digest and (sort of) Vogue Living in their quiver, Conde Nast doesn't need a fourth title. And it also means that it must not have been making money. We feel their pain, but can we have your advertisers please?

Or give them to Martha. As you probably know, we're sharing part of our adspace with Martha Stewart (no we haven't met her yet), and happily so. They are helping pay part of our bills while we concentrate on blogging. They finally made a public announcement this morning here: New MSLO Ad Network Dangles Lure of Reach to Advertisers.

As shelter and interior design junkies, we find it remarkable that we are - for once - on the right side of a cultural and business shift. Online is the new new thing and while we're NOT rolling in money, it is absolutely lovely to contemplate that we'll get to continue creating this medium - this shelterblog thing - with all of you readers while we avoid the pain that continues to rip through old media.
