Don't Drink and Drive a La-Z-Boy

With the holiday and party season approaching, take this bit of news as a cautionary tale, and a good reason NOT to motorize your furniture — this week a Minnesota man pleaded guilty to driving his motorized La-Z-Boy chair while drunk.

The chair was motorized with a converted lawnmower and also sported a stereo. The man drove the chair into a parked car but was not seriously injured. Our view of the La-Z-Boys will never be the same.

I'm pretty disappointed that this post is under NY and that it made apartment therapy altogether. This is so classless and this behavior should really be ignored by the masses.
