Check it out. Surprisingly, given the subject, there is less attitude and tons of substance in this issue. The project for sustainability is humbling in its enormity, but the creativity caught between the pages of this 270 page magazine issue is inspiring. They have really worked for this. Crap, even the advertisements are good. Oh, and check out the website while you're at it. They're finally getting a bit more webby.

What is the fellow doing in the photo? I really don't want to blow up the photo and check if he's doing what I think he's doing.

Watering can. Not porn-star material here...
This is an amazing issue. I read a lot of it yesterday. It's nice to see some original material in a shelter magazine-the expert's review of sustainable flooring options was really informative (bamboo is so trendy!) and the cover home made me want to move to Spain. Hydroponic rooftop garden wth volcanic rock? Awesome!
he's watering his sod roof. from the brown color, it looks more like a sAd roof to me.
Finally, the Dwell website is doing something. I just clicked a little and there are lots of pix.
