Flap Clock Tease

2005_12_flap.jpgOliver walked in last night and said, "Hey, I didn't know that clock was THAT big. I thought is was a little thing for your desk."

Just so you won't miss growing hard with envy and not realize how BIG this thing is, here's a pic to prove it. This also explains the £75 price tag and the difficulty getting it home in baggage (we KNOW that the month is wrong!). MGR

ps. Sue Ellen - Did Ikea REALLY buy Habitat in the 90's or are you pulling our leg? We couldn't find any proof of this....

I too thought it was a desk clock, and would prefer it in that size.

That particular picture is a tad confusing until you realize that MAR = Mardi, meaning "Tuesday" in French (ya know, as in Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday), because otherwise you wonder, "Well? Is it June? Or is it March?"

If I was working a little bit more mod look in my place, I'd be VERY tempted.

Meanwhile, it looks like a Britsh Pound symbol, instead of that for the Euro.

Actually, he means that "juin" [June] should be "juillet" [July]...

Actually, how big IS that clock, in inches?

The first clue that Ikea bought Habitat is that they have some identical products, like the box o' candles, something I buy constantly.
