Buy into Old New York. The Grammercy Park Hotel is being dismantled and all of the interior fixtures sold off on site. Here is the word on the street:
The sale going on at the Grammercy Park Hotel right now is a must see. Basically they've brought in some sorts of salvage firm to clear out, collect and categorize all of the furnishings in the entire annex portion of the hotel. 17 floors worth.
So basically you walk in and then proceed to wander the floors, scavenging through the wide array of furniture, ranging from large dressers/couches/beds/headboards all the way towards the brass door knobs. Great scene for those who love to scavenge as well as those love to roam through old new york. Josh
