James May's Life Size LEGO House Underway

Though we knew that there were plans to build a full-size house from LEGOs, the photographic evidence is beginning to show up! James May, the UK television host of Toy Stories is working with over 2 million bricks and 1,200 volunteers to build a life-size LEGO house in Surrey, England. Scheduled to be completed today, these pics are from the past few weeks.

With more volunteers to help with the building than they would need (more than twice over)

The home is being built near the town of Dorking (ha!) in Surrey, England at the Denbies Wine Estate and their blog has updates with the project status.

Fun project! Looking forward to seing the results, and hearing May's trademark, amusingly dry and wry commentary about living in it.

Also, Top Gear, and (James May's) Toy Stories are two different --very different-- shows.
