July Links Drive: Let's Lift One Another Up

6-28-links-drive.jpgWe get lots of emails asking for links to our site, and it is simply too much for us to deal with most of the time. This month, however, we're holding our second LINKS DRIVE and opening the doors yet again.

While other sites beg, pay or steal to raise their web ranking, we would rather extend our base on friendly terms: We're inviting fellow home and design bloggers to help us all lift our web ranking together. If you are interested, read on...

We're inviting all of you who have BLOGS and would like to share links with us to send us an email and exchange links with us. We'll then put you up on our main page below our Site Meter, under "more friends".

When?

July 1 - July 31

Who?

All HOME AND/OR DESIGN BLOGS or SITES which are written by real folks and display links on their front page. This is not open to stores or vendors.

How?

Send us your URL in an email to jill (at) apartmenttherapy (dot) com with LINKS DRIVE in the subject field, tell us which of our SITES you'd like to be on and we'll check you out. When we put your link up (we'll do it in groups throughout the month) we'll send you a confirming email, check you out for our link and THANK YOU.

We're all in this together, so onward ho!

Smart way of handling the link exchanges. My blog is about the theater/entertainment biz, and I will link to AT with pride!

The AT link drive is a great thing. Last time I got my website added to the "more friends" category (my site is modernflat.com) and it really made a difference.

I was thinking about doing the same on my website (link drive) to help basically anyone who blogs about design/homes because there are so many good blogs out there but don't have a way to get noticed.

If anyone has a blog I highly recommend sending a link exchange request to AT!

Pete.

My hat is off to AT on this one. Very generous. The blogging community is so great in welcoming new faces and aspiring writers.

I just started a blog dealing with Persian rugs since so many people ask. AT:LA had said they were going to do a posting on how to buy a Persian rug with info I gave them several weeks ago, but dropped the ball.

So here's the blog I point people to.

http://vancouverrugguy.wordpress.com/

There's few links, but the ones that are there I consider to be high quality. The link to Barry O'Connell's notes is the best rug resource on the web, bar none.

Also the article I posted over the weekend on "wool and dyes" has some more very good links at the end of it.
