Coming home late last night, we saw in the window of Marc Jacobs 403 Bleecker Street (& 11th st.) the most beautiful piles of colorful, soft blankets with a big sign on them that said, "$80." Now that seems like the perfect price for something that is going to be ESSENTIAL in a few weeks. We don't know how big they are, nor do we know if they are made out of natural fibers, but we suggest checking when the store is open after noon (or call (212) 924-0026). MGR

A couple weeks before labor day, there were synthetic silver sleeping bags in attractive silver, immitation leather bags at Marc Jacobs for only $20. They sold out really quickly.
