Rumor has it that Housing Works is opening a new store at 245 West 10th Street, off Bleecker. Housing Works' website says the store is coming in September - that would be right now, wouldn't it? - and this would raise the count of HW stores to five. Who's ready for "Battle of the Thrift Stores"?

They've been open for about two weeks now, and we've already donated stuff. They seem to be specializing in upscale, designer clothes and accessories, in keeping with the theme of the big name boutiques around the corner on Bleeker.
