With over 80 awesome recipes, from tarts to cakes to cookies, it also tells the story of the Greyston Bakery and the Greyston Foundation (where she worked long ago) in Yonkers, New York, from its founding by Buddhists twenty-five years ago, to the work it does today as not only an award-winning bakery, but a multi-million dollar social service network providing jobs, housing and other social services to the community. Oh my goodness, I had no idea of the connection between Sara Kate's book and the bakery in Yonkers. How amazing (I just didn't connect the name for some reason).

I grew up in Yonkers, New York and yes, they are very well known for wonderful things. How nice to know Sara Kate worked there awhile back. No wonder she's such a great baker!

Good luck with the book and I'm sure I'll buy a copy.
