Cheap and handy. As we slowly grow the AT store, we're adding things that are super useful and hard to find.
Made originally for a garden supply company, we found these light, flexible, polymer buckets great indoors. We use them as wastepaper baskets in the AT offices, but also imagine they would be perfect for toy storage or for holding winter hats and gloves in the front hall. Two handles make them easy to lift and they also crush down for storage.

I know this is gross but knowing that Maxwell just went thru a bout of the flu my first thought when I saw that bucket was if he had to use it when sick. Yuck, I know -- gross!
my first thought was, geez, I hope they don't blast the guy for having an office outside his 265 square foot home.
I have two and frankly think they're a little bulky for a waste basket, especially in a small apartment, but they're very cheering in the garden for putting weeds in and carrying them to the compost heap. They're so pretty you can leave them out to look at.
Great site.
can someone elaborate on the "crush down for storage" part? how small do they become?
Leslie--
That made me laugh out loud.
These are nice looking buckets and I can think of a million uses for them (hold my snowy shoes when I come in the front door and carry them to the back!). It would be great if you could offer something like this made from recycled plastic. I've seen some also from a garden supply catalog, but they look like old tires, which is what they were made from.
In 2050, these baby are going to fetch a pretty penny. Grab'em quick!
