Pablo Designs was another booth that impressed us in person. Pablo Parda's chic and space-age lighting fixtures all involve movement, flexibility and elegance that drew us in.
The new LED desk lamp is a beautiful piece of minimalism.
This orb looked odd at first, but once we played with it - rotating it and turning its direct and ambient light, we thought they would be showstoppers in a living room.
Meanwhile, at Design House Stockholm we got to meet Anders Fardig, the president of DHS, and tried to convince him to open a retail store in NYC. This is beautiful Scandinavian design with a great deal of freshness and ingenuity.

There were new low tables that easily fold up.

There was a new folding arrangement of chairs and tables.
Pillows that rock retro and look like Jonathan Adler copied them.

Love the lines of that Pablo LED desk lamp, but what is the color temperature of the light it puts out?
I've found some low-end LED lighting to have a really weird blue cast... sort of like BMW high-beams (but not quite that bright!)
I'm getting a little over the whole "Jonathan Adler as plagiarist" thing, though...
