Just a friendly note to all of those who are frustrated that we seem to be blocking your questionable content when you comment - even if you are writing mundane things. Don't worry the RNC is not watching over you. Nor is Tipper Gore.
The short answer: it's a bug - don't use colons ":"
The longer answer: if you look closely the error says something like "blocked due to questionable content: :" and what it is trying to show is that the questionable content is that second little colon ":". Removing colons from posts solves the problem. Don't ask us why. We're still trying to figure it out too. MGR

I was having problems with this (which was sad to me since I love the conversations on this site!) and even after I took the colons out of my comment, the system still blocked it. But I figured it out(colon) for those of us who put our homepage in the URL box, you have to take the colon out there as well. So, I took out the whole http(colon)// and the link to my homepage still works, and it will let you post.
This frustrated me for a good hour the first time I went to comment, but I eventually figured it out.
Because my brain is the size of a small star, and I have nothing else to do at work.
I'd check for a malformed regex in your mt-blacklist file... if that doesn't make any sense to you, ask your friendly neighborhood web programmer.
Probably an anti-comments spammer technique, so that links can't be put into the comments.
Too bad you really can't block questionable comments. Don't have to be part of the RNC or be Tipper Gore to want civilized discourse.
