This means that those of you who have been on the fence now have a good reason to get off of it, take some pictures of your skillful, colorful room and get in the running for some of these large prizes.
P.S. BTW if you're in the West, your chances of winning your division are much better as we've recieved fewer submissions from out there...
With the extended deadline I may take some pics this weekend. The original deadline came up too quick on me.
Yes! That makes my day. I have these big windows that let in beautiful sunlight for pictures in my apt. But this whole week, the sunlight has been pretty much absent, so the color that usually looks so brillint is not showing up well on the digicam. Very excited to see everyone elses take on color. Come on, submit.
I suppose I'm West of the Mississippi (Hawaii!). But damn! My presentation would be "Why I Need Color" and those prizes to color 'em up!
Maybe Next Year. Until then, I'm looking forward to viewing more entries! Get them in y'all!

Well, there's goes my assumption that everyone in Hawaii has colorful interiors!
Has anyone else noticed that the covers of Met Home, House Beautiful and Better Homes/Gardens all have the same color scheme this month? Brown walls w/blue &/or white furniture and accessories. The start of a 60s trend?
Aloha Anne,
I guess I should explain. Follow the link to my site. I'm attempting to chronicle the transformation of a studio into a place worth showing off on Apartment Therapy.
My current home is a mix of soft neutral tones accented by rich colors, a touch of Hawaiiana and Asia and a sprinking of the Big Easy. Painted silks throughout the home in vibrant splashes. I hope to tranfer some of this to the new unit!

Instead of taking a photo of your screen you could hit the printscreen button and paste it in any graphics app such as Photoshop or Paint.
Just a helpful hint :)
