Everyone's a free marketer...until they discover rent control. This just in from NY1: the "Rent Guidelines Board" is to meet later this morning to discuss possible rent increases for "the city's more than one million rent stabilized apartments." Landlords and tenants alike are invited down to Cooper Union to voice their opinions on the subject. I'm sure they'll all get along famously.
