September is Adornment Month!

2004_12_7_chalk wall3.jpgPaint an chalkboard wall. This month we highlight all the smaller tasks that go into adorning, decorating, accessorizing and gussying up your home. We're featuring great stores and products, and looking for inspirational pics to show off and share ideas of what can be done. Feel free to comment away and send in tips.

In addition, we have a bunch of stuff going on to support you:
1. Our 8 Step Home Cure starts today online
2. My Dorm Room Rocks! Contest is taking submissions until the 17th
3. Our blik This Wall! Graphic Giveaway is going on right now

Ummm, what if we don't have one OR want one? They're nice, but not for me right now.

Ye, I'd have to vote for none of the above as well ... nothing wrong with the idea, just don't see it as something I want or need at the moment.

chalkboards drive me crazy. they leave dust on everything and they always look sloppy. plus, visitors and children always view chalkboards as an invitation to add their own doodles, just when you have your market list looking perfect.

did i mention i have a bit of OCD? ;)

definitely not for me...

There is something about the feel of a chalkboard that gives me shivers up my spine. Just thinking about accidentally scraping my nails on the board as I am writing is making me shudder.

Plus, chalk is way too dusty for me since I hate to vacumm or dust. Thats really a secondary issue.

I echo bets and Robert's sentiment. Maybe once I have children? It might be fun for the kids.

I'm thinking of painting my next car with chalkboard paint, but in my house? with the cat who would want to scratch it? Not for me.
