Last Tuesday, 370 of you responded to our poll concerning pets at home. Over 80% of you said you had some kind of pet living with you. Most of you are cat owners (over 40%) with dog owners trailing pretty far behind (19%). Surprisingly, over 10% of you said that you owned more than one pet and a combination of dogs, cats, birds, etc.... Accordingly, we'll be blogging tips, stores, designs and solutions to everyday home pet problems right here on www.apartmenttherapy.com. The following question was blogged over at ATChicago, Do You Let Pets Sleep in Your Bed? (82 comments), but we wanted to get some raw data here:

my first thought too, monica. they make tee shirts and sweaters with designs for these little guys.
but, back to the bed, if i had a large dog, they would have their own bed. but small dog is fine.

My two little guys (dogs, both under 10 lbs) sleep in bed with us. Wouldn't have it any other way!
The older one does like to leave the bed (and room) sometimes for a few hours, though, so we have a dog bed with a sheepskin in it in the next room for him as an alternative.
