Last week I emailed on Best Small Sofas of 2008. And I'll admit it's been a spotty week, but today, I'm going to make up for it. I got handy last weekend and hung our new mirror, completing the dining room, right above the table up top. It really transforms the room and I have a few tips for how to use mirrors like this along with proper hanging...

I'm really having trouble understanding your repeated posts telling people to sign up for an email when there are already many posts with comments from readers saying they AREN'T GETTING THE EMAIL.
Hello? Anyone home over there at AT Headquarters?
In case you were not aware:

I had just seen a shot of that space and was quite fond of the height of the clock. I'd be interested to see a picture of the new arrangment.

It's the last picture. I don't think I'm crazy about the mirror in that spot but it's hard to tell without seeing the whole space.

Marie nailed it. Just to be sure it wan't me I checked my spam blocker on my PC and it seems to be okay. I do use Verizon broadband and wonder if they're stopping it at the ISP level. Hmmm...

Not sure about the mirror placement either. Usually not very appealing to watch one's self in a mirror while eating. Would love to have seen how it looked leaving the clock in the quirky low position with the mirror above it. But I'm sure they tried that before deciding on this as the lesser of the evils. But, I would have thrown out baby and bathwater, opting instead for a large piece of art for the wall.

Omigoodness, I just had a flashback to my grandmother's dining room--and her HUGE mirror over the table!
Not that it isn't funky or anything.
