Today's Email: My New Favorite Coffee Mug

4-3-mug.jpg

12-19-emailicon.jpgLast week I emailed on the best cordless phone designs from Philips, (see below), and today - after hitting up pricey products - I wanted to blab about my favorite new mug that we're all using here at the office...

My new favorite mug is similar -- it's from IKEA:

Hmmm. Just realized that the IKEA mug is actually a "beer mug". Ah well. It's still a great mug.

Is anybody actually getting the e-mails? I keep signing up but not getting them. And I don't have my spam filters turned on, because God knows I'm getting plenty of spam.

That is a gorgeous mug. Where did you get it? My all time favorite mug for tea is Karim Rashid's Creemy. The handle fits my hand like the mug is part of me:

Also, Jasper Morrison's new Platebowlcup mug for Alessi is HOT HOT HOT.

I think the mug is made by Bodum. They make a whole line of beautiful double walled glasses. I think that the ones with handles totally defeat the purpose of the design though. You don't need a handle because the outside wall never gets hot. I have a set without handles and I love them!

@ robertcraig- how pricey are the Karim Rashid's Creemy mugs? I didn't see a price. I just love those.

The Creemy line isn't cheap. Best price I know of is 94 for a set of 2. I was lucky enough to score them at wholesale before they were in the US. They just won the 2008 Red Dot!

i also think the mug is Bodum ( http://www.amazon.com/Bodum-Bistro-Double-Wall-Insulated-Glass/dp/B000S6M7PW/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1207245031&sr=8-3
)
and i think they are beautiful but what has stopped me from buying them are reports that they are very fragile.

personally, i'm too much of a klutz so i will just have to admire them from afar

I have not been receiving the emails either...strange. And I really wanted to know who makes the narrow console table that was featured a couple days ago!!
