We're Back Up....

2004_11_17_computer.jpgWhat the hell happened? We still don't know. But at around 3:15 yesterday traffic began to quickly spike upward and within ten minutes or so, the server crashed along with all five sites.

With Mark in Fire Island and us out of the office at clients all evening, it took some time to pull together get the server going again. Having got everything back up, we will now try to find out where the traffic came from, see who was visiting us and let you know...

It made me realize how addicted I have become to AT...welcome back!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that was banging my keyboard this morning, wondering where my addictive hookup was going to come from if not from AT!

Wow...major AT withdrawl...glad that's over...also glad I'm not alone with this obsession....

I found a link to your site on lifehacker.com. I don't know if that could be the reason for the added traffic.

Just a suggestion.

glad i'm not the only addict out there. i have a feeling this has something to do with the Newsweek mention - i've also notice lots of new folks around over the past few days.

I had to actually do some work yesterday. Please don't let that happen again.

I'm so glad you're back on. Yesterday I was keeping track of the votes for my Greenest Thumb contest submission when the server crashed. That was a major bummer! And now please, could everyone go over to the Chicago page and vote on the contest? :D

Phew, finally these jitters will subside...and maybe those crazy bats that invaded my apartment last night will disappear.

Hi,

Amid the traffic, I was trying to seek refuge from working on my resume. This site has been so rock solid, I wondered what was up, myself. Glad to learn of the Newsweek mention... maybe that's the culprit! Thanks for this GREAT resource, and best wishes as you sort things out.

PS--if anyone needs someone in Boston with broad marketing communication experience who also happens to be a classically trained tenor and organist, let me know.

I figured it was probably my company who did the DOS* attack so I would get some work done.

I just returned from Houston yesterday and AT was mentioned in an article in the American Airlines inflight magazine!

May I add your email hasn't worked for over two weeks - I get a message saying the server doesn't exist. (Just tried - it now works); and entering the codes to post stopped working on Sunday (Sydney time).

There's no AT on Sunday or Monday here; no Tuesday as well was quite traumatic.

I'm not addicted - I can give you up any time I like.
