We first spotted them on Small Space, Big Style. Then we got to meet them. One of our inspirations for living in a small apartment with baby, Franziska and David flew in from London last Friday and presented their new bed, which has a number of special effects and is just plain dreamy...

i was thinking of doing something like this, like... exactly, to cover up an unsightly light fixture on my ceiling. i've always sorta liked these paper lanterns for their shape and affordability, but are they getting too played out? i feel like they aren't fresh or interesting anymore.

powkang,
i agree with you that the white paper lanterns aren't fresh or interesting anymore.
i like the all-in-one aspects of the bed, though.

The bed's nice, but the storage underneath made me laugh out loud . . . just wait until their baby becomes a toddler. He'll be dumping those storage boxes out every five minutes.

Forget the bed and paper lanterns...what shade of red did they use? I love it!

So what is the price of the bed? I can't find it on the website, even under the link "payment and delivery schedule." Am I overlooking it?

I'm sending this link to my friend who wants a modern four poster bed and has a ridiculous amount of stuff.

I LOVE those paper lanterns arranged like that! What a crisp yet comfortable space. I also love that in their styling, they left the Happy Birthday balloon and didn't try to make everything look unrealistically perfect and unlived-in.
